So last night Sarah and I went to a concert at Venue 68 and had so much fun together. We kicked off the evening hearing a band that we had not heard of named Vota! They were LOUD and a lot of fun!! Jumping and dancing around on the stage.

Next up was SuperChick! Now, we were moving on to a group that at least I was familiar with some of their music. The whole band had a lot of fun and so were we.

I would like to know how the lead singer got her hair to look the way she did last night. She sort of had it in a faux-hawk like I had never seen before. Sarah and I decided it must of taken a lot of gel....and hairspray...and probably some pretty interesting blow drying techniques.

And then it was time for the closing act, BarlowGirl. And they are one of my favorites. They are three sisters who play all their own instruments which I think is so awesome. They are a very talented family. They are also blessed with beautiful voices. Alyssa has a voice of an angel, I do believe. Anyhow, they sang some favorites along with a mix of their new songs.

Alyssa ended the evening with an altar call for people to come forward and meet with a prayer team if they needed to. The entire evening ended on a very quiet note and "good night". What a great time Sarah and I had. If you ever get the chance to see BarlowGirl, I would highly encourage you to go. This is the second time we have had the pleasure of listening to them live and both times were a lot of fun.
